STATELINE — Moving day at the American Century Championship was all about the records — record-setting attendance and record scoring by Grant Fuhr, a retired NHL goalie.Unofficially, Saturday's second round is believed to be the most attended day in the 20-year history of the event, according to Phil Weidinger, media director for the tournament.

Attendance figures weren't immediately available.

For the week, each day of the week has seen an increase of 20 percent, Weidinger said.Fuhr eclipsed the single-round scoring record with an 18-hole total of 32 to move into a first-place with seven-time champion Rick Rhoden, who formerly pitched for the Dodgers and Yankees.

Fuhr's round of 5-under 67 included two eagles, which are worth six points apiece in the modified Stableford scoring format."It's fun to be hanging around again," Fuhr said.

"Obviously you want to have a chance to win.

But to get the chance to play with Rick again, I enjoy that.

Obviously Rick is as good as there is.

It's fun to learn from them.

It's fun to be competitive."Rhoden, Fuhr and Dan Quinn are expected to be in the final threesome. The former single-round mark of 31 by Chris Chandler was equaled by Rhoden, who rolled in eight birdies en route to a 67.Fuhr also broke the second-round scoring record of 30 shared by Rhoden and Jack Wagner.First-round leader Tony Romo, the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, slipped into a tie for third with Quinn at 49.Chandler's record scoring total of 78 that he set in 2007 is likely to fall on Sunday.

"I don't think 68's going to win, that's for sure," said Rhoden, referring to his winning total last year.

"There's probably four or five that could get close to (78).

"You never know.

Golf every day is different.

About the time you've got it figured out, up it jumps and gets you."American Century Championship 2009 Saturday's Second Round Purse: $ 600,000 Par: 36 36 - 72At Edgewood Tahoe GC Tournament Summary Yardage: 6972 Pos Player Scores T1 Rick Rhoden 25-31—56 T1 Grant Fuhr 24-32—56 T3 Dan Quinn 21-28—49 T3 Tony Romo 27-22—49 5 Jeremy Roenick 20-27—47 T6 Pierre Larouche 21-23—44 T6 Trent Dilfer 23-21—44 T6 Billy Joe Tolliver 21-23—44 9 Brett Hull 14-26—40 10 John Elway 19-20—39 T11 Mike Modano 17-21—38 T11 Jack Wagner 17-21—38 T13 Michael Jordan 15-22—37 T13 Vinny Testaverde 20-17—37 T15 Steve Bartkowski 15-19—34 T15 Jerry Rice 18-16—34 T17 Trent Edwards 11-21—32 T17 Sterling Sharpe 9-23—32 T17 Marshall Faulk 11-21—32 T20 Vince Coleman 13-18—31 T20 Ken Whisenhunt 19-12—31 T22 Chris Chandler 12-18—30 T22 Ben Roethlisberger 11-19—30 T22 Joe Buck 17-13—30 T22 Oliver Hudson 18-12—30
