An electric guitar is only as good as it's weakest link. So when you first buy a guitar, whether it's new or used, take a couple minutes to open the control cavity
cover on the switch and pots to see what you've got. Sort of like lifting the hood when buying a car. If the wiring doesn't look neat and you can see frayed wires anywhere, you would benefit from rewiring. Same with the switch. If you hear noise when turning the knobs or moving the switch, they need to be cleaned or replaced. OR you run the risk of those annoying pops and crackles blowing your amplifier up. So to kill 2 birds with 1 stone you can dramatically improve your guitar sound and protect your amplifier when you junk the generic hardware and get serious about your sound.
Our high performance parts line is well stocked with brand names such as DiMarzio CTS Gibson and Switchcraft pots. Schaller Gibson and Switchcraft switches. EMG Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio pickups. And service techs that will get the job done
in 1 day instead of weeks, WITH a 90 day guarantee on all electronics work!
